Prayer for Angioplasty Surgery and Similar Conditions: Seeking God’s Healing Touch

James 5:14-15 (NIV)

“Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven.”

Heavenly Father, as I approach the moment of my angioplasty surgery, I draw near to You, the source of all healing and strength. Your word promises that the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and I cling to that promise now. I ask for Your healing touch to be upon the surgeons, the medical staff, and every hand that will be involved in my care.

Lord Jesus, just as You demonstrated compassion and healing during Your time on earth, healing those who were sick and suffering, I seek Your comforting presence now. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard my heart and mind. Grant me the assurance of Your continuous presence, knowing that You are with me, just as You were with those you healed in the Gospels.

I pray for a successful surgery and a swift recovery, that my health may be restored fully in Your loving hands. Guide the surgeons with Your wisdom, and may Your will be done in all aspects of this procedure and my recovery.

Bless me with the peace of knowing that in every moment of this experience, You are with me, Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. May this experience draw me closer to You, deepening my trust and faith in Your unfailing love and power to heal.

In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our healer and redeemer, I pray. Amen.
